Can I wear makeup after Microneedling?
Directly after the treatment, the skin should be treated gently, as it may temporarily be more sensitive and slightly red. In many cases, makeup can be applied again after around 24 hours, depending on the individual skin condition and the intensity of the treatment.
Light, non-comedogenic products are recommended to avoid irritating the skin further. However, many clients choose to skip makeup, as the skin often already appears fresher, smoother, and more radiant immediately after the treatment.
Is Microneedling suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, Microneedling can often also be performed on sensitive skin. The treatment is individually adapted to the skin type, skin thickness, and current skin condition, allowing the intensity to be carefully adjusted.
A professional skin analysis before the treatment is especially important to take sensitive areas into account and protect the skin in the best possible way. Modern Microneedling technologies allow for a gentle treatment with minimal stress on the skin’s surface.
