Before & After Acne Treatment

Real results. No filters!

Problem
Pimples, blackheads, clogged pores and excess sebum can make the skin look uneven and unsettled. Several of these concerns often appear at the same time.
Solution
Bye Acne combines intensive cleansing, exfoliation, professional extraction and soothing care. Depending on your skin condition, HydraFacial or LaseMD may also be a suitable addition.
Sessions
The skin can already look clearer and more cared for after individual treatments. For longer-term results, we often recommend a series of treatments spaced around 2 to 4 weeks apart.

What Is Acne and Why Is Professional Treatment Worth It?

Acne develops when sebum, dead skin cells and other buildup clog the pores. This can lead to blackheads, pimples and blemishes. The face, forehead, chin and cheeks are most commonly affected, but acne can also occur on the back and chest.

At AFACIAL, we support acne-prone skin with our Bye Acne treatment and other tailored treatments. The goal is to deeply cleanse the skin, clear clogged pores and help the complexion look visibly clearer. In cases of stronger or actively inflamed acne, we recommend a dermatological assessment first.

Three stages against breakouts

  1. Cleanse

Double cleansing removes make-up, SPF, sebum and build-up.

  2. Extract

A peel and manual extraction clear congested pores.

  3. Calm

An active mask and SPF calm the skin afterwards.

Four benefits of acne treatment

  • Cleansing

    Clogged pores thoroughly cleared

  • Complexion

    Visibly clearer and calmer

  • Gentle

    Professional care instead of squeezing

  • Tailored

    Matched to your skin

Questions About Acne Treatment: Our Expertise for Your Skin

What Helps Best Against Acne?

For mild, non-actively inflamed acne, a combination of consistent non-comedogenic skincare and regular professional treatments can be useful. At AFACIAL, the treatment is individually adapted to your current skin condition.

Acne is especially common among younger people: a medical review published in JAMA reports that around 85% of people aged 12 to 24 are affected. Stronger or inflammatory acne should be assessed by a dermatologist.

Can Acne Come Back After Treatment?

Yes, new blemishes can develop because factors such as sebum production, skin renewal, hormones and daily skincare continue to play a role. A cosmetic treatment can reduce existing blemishes but does not permanently change these natural processes.

For acne-prone skin, regular treatments and a suitable skincare routine can help keep the complexion clearer over time.

When Should I See a Dermatologist for Acne?

We recommend a dermatological assessment for stronger, painful or actively inflamed acne. This is especially important in cases of deeper inflammation or if the skin condition noticeably worsens.

AFACIAL focuses on the cosmetic support of blemish-prone and mild to moderate, non-actively inflamed skin. Medical acne therapies should be handled by dermatologists.

What Is Better: Bye Acne or HydraFacial?

Bye Acne was developed specifically for blemish-prone and acne-prone skin and combines Double Cleansing, a lactic acid peel, manual extraction and soothing skincare.

HydraFacial combines cleansing, exfoliation, vacuum extraction and hydration and is particularly suitable for clogged pores and an uneven complexion. HydraFacial is not suitable for active inflammatory acne.

How Often Should You Have an Acne Treatment?

For blemish-prone and acne-prone skin, we often recommend several treatments spaced around 2 to 4 weeks apart. This allows the skin to be cleansed regularly and the skincare approach to be adjusted as the skin develops.

How often a treatment is suitable for you depends on your current skin condition and your Skincare Goals. We create the appropriate treatment plan individually with you.
